The story takes place in a future European city where Mihai Mihaeroff — a former assassin, Badou Nails — a chain-smoking one-eyed mercenary, Fuyumine Naoto — a katana-wielding female orphan, and Heine Rammsteiner — a genetically altered albino gunman, ply their deadly trades on the streets and in the underground.Note: The first anime volume shipped in Japan with the fourth volume of Miwa's Dogs: Bullets & Carnage manga on May 19, 2009.
